Armonia Retreat Recap: Cyprus 2026

Some weekends stay with you.

Not only because of what happened, but of how they felt while they were unfolding — and how they continue to echo afterwards.

That’s how this third Armonia Retreat feels.

Over two days by the sea, we came together at Nissi Beach Resort for a weekend of movement, breath, rest, connection, shared meals, beautiful conversations, and the kind of presence that only happens when people choose to slow down together.

This retreat felt especially meaningful to me.

Maybe because it was the third edition.
Maybe because the months leading up to it were so full.
Maybe because each Armonia retreat teaches me something new about people, about space-holding, and about what really matters.

This one felt warm, open, and very real.

Saturday — arriving into the weekend

Saturday began with a gentle arrival into the body.

As always, people came in carrying different things — tiredness, curiosity, stress, openness, the need to exhale. The first part of the day was about creating space for all of that to settle.

Through movement, breath, and the slower rhythm of the retreat, something began to soften.

As the day unfolded, we moved through different kinds of experiences — some energising, some grounding, some more inward. The breathwork and sharing circle brought depth and openness. The sound bath offered a different kind of rest. There was movement, release, expression, and space to simply be.

And then there were all the parts in between.

The conversations over dinner.
The smiles between people who had only just met.
The quiet moments by the sea.
The feeling of not needing to be anywhere else for a while.

That, too, is part of the retreat.

Sunday — listening, presence, integration

Sunday had its own softness.

By then, the group had settled more deeply into the weekend, and everything felt a little more open. The cacao and meditation offered a grounded start to the day, and from there the experience kept unfolding in a very natural way.

One of the moments that stayed with me most was the listening practice.

It was simple, but powerful.

To speak while someone listens with full presence.
To listen without interrupting, advising, or filling the space.
To notice how rare it can be to feel truly heard.

That session felt like such a strong reminder of something very human: how much people long not only for connection, but for presence.

Later in the day, yoga and the closing breathwork helped bring everything together and land the weekend gently.

And somehow, it was time to close.

What stayed with me

Each Armonia retreat reminds me that what makes a weekend meaningful is never just the schedule..

Yes, the sessions matter.
But so do the pauses.
The meals.
The atmosphere.
The sea.
The conversations.
The feeling of being welcomed exactly as you are.

So much of Armonia lives in those in-between moments.

This weekend also reminded me that people are craving spaces that feel real — spaces where they don’t need to perform, impress, or have everything figured out.

Just spaces where they can breathe, soften, reconnect, and be.

And maybe that’s what I keep learning through Armonia too:

Harmony is not perfection; it’s peacefulness.
It’s something we keep returning to — through breath, rest, movement, honesty, and connection.
